Head shot of marina

Flying has always been and still is my big passion.

I have started my career with Qantas as cabin crew, doing both domestic and international routes over a decade ago.

Later I joined Strategic Airlines which later changed its name to Air Australia, where I rose to the position of Cabin Manager and then Line-Check Trainer. After Air Australia very unfortunately went into liquidation, I have found my wings again with Virgin Australia. All together it comes to over 10 years of flying experience.

In my lifetime I have gone through 5-6 cabin crew interviews (some for the promotions within the airline). The only unsuccessful one was my very first one, with Virgin Blue (way before it became Virgin Australia!).

Back then I had no idea about the industry. I just wanted to fly! I thought I was amazing and, of course, I could get the job! I was absolutely devastated and had no idea what I did wrong when I didn’t. I did some research, and found a seminar that an ex-flight attendant was hosting . This has helped me to see what I needed to change and a month later – I got the job with Qantas!!

So this is my aim now: to help newbies to get through the process and get the taste of one of the most exciting careers in the world.

I have tailored my course to Australian and Middle Eastern Airlines that are recruiting now. And with friends as recruiters/trainers/managers and crew in all of the airlines (it’s a very tight-knit community as you will discover)  I am able to keep my fingers on the pulse of what’s going on in the industry now.

Hope you can join me!
